Tip From The Public Leads To Impaired Driving Charge In Huntsville

The Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a driver after a member of the public called police anonymously to report a possible impaired driver.

On May 15, 2024, at approximately 2:15 p.m., police received a report of a possible impaired driver on Main Street in the Town of Huntsville.

As a result of the investigation, Travis Armour, 32 years of age, from the Town of Huntsville, was charged with:
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused had their driver’s license suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 9, 2024.
