Tiny Township Resident Charged With Impaired After Tip From The Public

A concerned community member made a call to the Ontario Provincial Police Communication Centre near 6:14 p.m. February 21, 2024, after observing the actions of a west bound Heritage Drive, Midland pick up truck believing that the driver may be impaired. An officer from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment located the suspect vehicle parked in the live west bound lane of Angela Schmidt Foster Road and promptly had a conversation with the driver.

As a result, the officer entered into an impaired driving investigation leading to Frederick Pantrey 50 years of Tiny Township being charged criminally with the following driving offence.

The accused was released from police custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice  on March 7, 2024, and also faces a 90 day driver’s licence suspension along with a tow and impound invoice for seven days as per the Ministry of Transportation (ADLS) guidelines
