Tandem Bicycle Recovered In Orillia, Charge Laid

Orillia OPP have charged a local man in connection with the theft of a tandem bicycle in November, in Orillia.

On November 20, 2020, a unique tandem bicycle was stolen from a home on Laclie Street, Orillia. On June 11, 2021, the owner located the easily identifiable bike at a local pawn shop and reported it to the OPP. The stolen bicycle has been recovered and returned to the owner and a suspect has been arrested and charged.

Daniel Davidson, age 51, of Severn Township, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 and was released on a Form 9 Appearance Notice with a court date of July 13, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia.
