Since the tournament’s inception, the township has raised over $479,000 in support of more than 40 local charities, with $45,000 raised in 2024 for 17 organizations. The township will announce the names of the beneficiaries of this year’s tournament in the spring. Local charities and not-for-profits are encouraged to apply for funding opportunities by visiting www.tiny.ca/golf.

Our goal for 2025 is to raise $65,000 which would allow us to surpass a cumulative fundraising total of $500,000,” said Mayor David Evans. “The proceeds of this tournament directly support a broad range of small charities that help people across all of North Simcoe and their families. We are looking forward to another year of incredible generosity from our residents and local businesses, and a great day out on the course.”

Register as a golfer

The cost for a foursome is $800. Single participants or pairs should contact the township to arrange a foursome. Registration includes an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start, an 18-hole round of golf with a lunch and buffet dinner, silent auction and raffle draws, as well as competitions and prizes on the course. Spaces in this tournament are limited, and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Township of Tiny has a variety of sponsorship and donation opportunities available. Sponsorships range from their Title Sponsor to $150 Lunch Sponsor packages. The township is also grateful for donations to the silent auction and raffle draws. The township will award these funds to several charitable groups in April that have been approved through the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament Committee.

The cost for each participant is $200 and participants can register as a single up to a foursome. Single participants will be placed in a group. Registration includes an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start, an 18-hole round with a cart, lunch and snacks, plated dinner, silent auction and raffle draws, as well as competitions and prizes on the course. Spaces in this tournament are limited, and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Join us for dinner only

Enjoy a delicious plated dinner starting at 6:00 p.m. and take the opportunity to network and socialize with guests before the charity cheque presentation. For those that do not want to spend the day on the greens, dinner tickets are $85. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Register early so you don’t miss the opportunity to support this great cause.

“Since 2015, the Golf Tournament has raised over $310,000 for more than 20 local charitable organizations, in support of their services to improve our community’s health and wellness,” said Mayor Cornell. “Please join us in making this year’s tournament the best one yet!”

This year’s fundraising goal of $50,000 will directly benefit the following organizations:

In addition, in partnership with Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church (located in Tiny), $10,000 of the funds raised will go to aid humanitarian efforts supporting those impacted by the crisis in Ukraine. Lives are being turned upside down by war, leaving millions of people in need of urgent help.

Space is limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. New this year, golfers will have five chances to participate in the Shoot-Out for One Million Dollars!

Sponsorships range from the $7,500 Title Sponsorship to the $50 Golf Cart Sign. In addition, the Township is grateful for donations to the silent auction and raffle draws.

Bid on the virtual silent auction or enter the virtual raffle draws

This year, the silent auction and raffle are virtual and include an assortment of gift certificates, pieces of art, food and beverage, décor, and entertainment items. New items are added each week up until event day and bids will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20.
