A recent HelloFresh survey revealed that over half of those surveyed (56%) feel pressure to impress when cooking dinner for a date.

And for good reason.

Almost half of Millennials and Gen Z respondents (47%) believe that cooking for a partner can be more intimate than sex.

No wonder 1 in 4 have avoided having someone over for a date, because they felt pressure to cook well for them.

The same survey also revealed a shift in dining habits for couples.

73% of couples are likely to opt for eating at home for date night instead of going out, to save money this year.
