On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Bracebridge OPP officers responded to multiple reports of mischief that occurred during the very early morning hours in the town of Gravenhurst. Parked vehicles were damaged after rocks were thrown from a moving vehicle resulting in smashed windows. Ten vehicles were reportedly damaged that were parked on First Street South, Winewood Avenue West, Muskoka Road South, Main Street and Oriole Crescent. Three Port Sydney youths, aged 14, 16 and 17 years old, were each charged with 10 counts of Mischief.

On October 14, 2026, as a result of the ongoing investigation, police arrested and charged 20-year-old Wesley French, of Gravenhurst, with Mischief X 10 and Obstruct Peace Officer.

He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on November 10, 2026 to answer to his charges.

The show runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 11. The show is free and a great event for the whole family. There is also free offsite parking and free shuttle buses.

The driver of the Rav-4 SUV was asked to pull over in a polite and professional manner after the incident to check for damage and exchange information.  The driver ignored the request to pull over and kept driving. The driver of the Rav-4 SUB called the OPP communication centre to report a driving complaint. Bracebridge OPP located both vehicles on Hwy 11 northbound at Manson Lane to discuss the incident . As a result of the collision, the driver of the Muskoka411 vehicle has been charged by Bracebridge OPP with careless driving.

Road rage or anger was never a factor in this incident.

Please clear the snow and ice from your vehicle before driving so this does not happen. This incident was 100 pre cent preventable.
