Suspect Breaks Into Bracebridge Home Stealing One Cigarette

Bracebridge OPP are investigating after a man broke into a Bracebridge home over the weekend.

OPP say just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday March 23, a man attended a Bracebridge residence. Finding the house secure, he made a few attempts to gain entry. Though he was finally successful in entering the home, he was confronted by the home owner inside. The suspect was removed from the premise after stealing one cigarette. The suspect then fled the scene while police were called.

Police responded immediately and with the help of witnesses were able to quickly identify the suspect.

Charged under the Criminal Code with Break and Enter, Theft (under $5,000), Assault and Uttering Threats is 25 year old Christopher Nulley of Clearview Township. He will appear in Bracebridge court on May 9.
