OPP Seeking Assistance Locating Missing Midland Man


Update: OPP investigators were able to locate the missing male in Barrie on April 23 with the assistance of the public. Steven William Wilkins is in good health and there is no longer any concern for his well being. Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP said they want to thank the members of the public who assisted them in the missing person investigation.

Southern Georgian Bay detachment of the OPP are currently attempting to locate a missing male of the Midland area. Officers are looking for Steven William Wilkins who is 59 years of age and has been living in Midland recently. He was last observed at a retail store on County Road 93 Midland at 5:00 pm April 7, 2019 and friends have been trying to contact him since without avail and are concerned for well being as his absence is uncharacteristic .

He is described as being male white, 5′ tall, 170 lbs, stocky build, gray/brown hair, hazel eyes, unshaven and last known to be wearing a grey sweater, jeans, black winter jacket with a fanny pack. see attached photograph.
