On Sunday, the 28th of October 2018, at 11:45 p.m., shots were fired into two occupied residences on Admiral Crescent, Village of Angus, Essa Township. Fortunately no injuries are reported.
This event has had a significant negative impact on this residential community.
“There are members of the public who have key information that will assist the investigators in apprehending the individual or individuals involved in this incident. Nottawasaga OPP Street Crime and Nottawasaga Crime Unit are again appealing for the assistance of the public to get this illegal firearm and the offenders off the streets of our communities,” states Staff Sergeant Brian Humber of Nottawasaga OPP.
“There are community members who know the individuals involved, where they are hiding and where this firearm is located. The suspects should not feel comfortable in their surroundings.”
Nottawasaga OPP Street Crime and Nottawasaga Crime Unit members are continuing to aggressively investigate this incident and are seeking the assistance of the public. Area residents are again encouraged to review their security systems, dashcam recorders for suspicious activities or vehicles between 11:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28th, 2018 and 1:00 a.m. Monday, October 29th, 2018 and contact the Nottawasaga OPP Street Crime Unit at 705 434 1939.
