OPP Find Impaired Boater on Lake Muskoka

The Bracebridge OPP Marine Unit has been very busy patrolling area lakes in an ongoing effort to keep Muskoka waterways safe.

On Friday June 21, 2019 just before 10:00 p.m. officers stopped a vessel on Lake Muskoka for an infraction and during the course of their investigation became concerned about the presence of alcohol. The operator of the vessel, 54 year-old Graham Clarke of Hamilton, was subsequently arrested and charged with Operation while Impaired (over 80). He will appear In Bracebridge Court on July 16, 2019 to answer to his charge.

Bracebridge OPP would like to offer a reminder that much like operators of motor vehicles, operators of vessels who are charged with an Impaired Operation offense will lose their driver’s license for 90 days.
