Huntsville OPP Find Drugs During Traffic Stops


On June 15, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. Huntsville OPP stopped a vehicle on Main St. W. for a routine traffic stop. During the stop, it was discovered that the group in the car were in possession of cocaine.

As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old female and 37-year-old male, both from Huntsville were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. The two will appear in  Huntsville court on July 7, 2019.

On June 16, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. as a result of a traffic complaint, Huntsville OPP stopped a pickup truck in Huntsville. The investigation led to the arrest of a 39-year-old male from Huntsville for having possession of a schedule I drug for the purposes of trafficking – cocaine. He faces two other charges including possession of proceeds of crime and Operating a Motor Vehicle while Prohibited. He was held for a bail hearing, set for Monday June 17, 2019.
