The Bala Cranberry Festival is encouraging festival go-ers 65+ to start their cranberry weekend off early. Friday October 12th will be the 2nd annual Senior’s Day at the festival, with seniors 65 and over saving $2 on the festival admission.
The lighter crowds make for a more enjoyable and accessible festival going experience, and the festival is encouraging vendors and Bala businesses to offer senior’s discounts on holiday gifts, home décor, jewelry and fashion.
The big highlight of the day will be the afternoon’s feature concert. Lenny Graf and his Platinum Orchestra will be entertaining the crowds with the sounds of the big band era from 1:30pm till 3:30pm on the Maple Ave Main Stage. This is a free concert included with festival admission.
Senior’s day was created to be apart of the festival’s ongoing commitment to growing attendance during off-peak times. Remember, your festival admission gets you entry in the festival on all three days, October 12, 13 and 14.
