The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services and The Heart and Stroke Foundation are partnering to offer an exciting opportunity to students in the Simcoe region. At the end of the month, students will be able to take part in a free Level-A CPR training course. The course will include adult and child CPR, and how to use a Public Access Defibrillator. There is no cost to attend, however, students are asked to bring non-perishable food items for donation to the food bank.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 28th, at the Allandale Recreation Centre in Barrie, from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Students who wish to participate can register online at simcoe.ca/cpr or by calling (705) 735-6901.
