Driver Of Motorcycle Suffers Serious Injuries After Collision On Highway 60


On Friday May 17, 2019 at 6: 15 p.m., Killaloe OPP responded to a two vehicle collision involving a passenger car and a motorcycle on Highway 60 between Hwy 127 and Hwy 35, Algonquin Provincial Park. The 34-year-old male driver of the motorcycle from Orillia was transported to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The driver and passenger in the car were not injured. A portion of Highway 60 was closed for twelve hours while the OPP Technical Collision Investigators continued with the investigation into the cause of the collision. This incident remains under investigation.
