Driver Charged With Impaired After Collision On Highway 69

On January 9, 2019 shortly before 10:00 p.m., West Parry Sound OPP responded to a report of a collision on Highway 69 in Unincorporated Territory, Ontario.

OPP say that vehicles were southbound following a snow plow when a southbound vehicle rear-ended another vehicle. Police attended and the officer spoke to the driver and determined that she had consumed alcohol.

22-year-old Madison Jackson female from Elliot Lake, Ontario was charged with:

  • Careless driving
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

The driver was also issued a 3-day licence suspension for impaired.
