Driver Charged For Going 150 km/h In A 90 km/h Zone On Hwy 69


On May 18, 2019 a OPP was on patrol on Highway 69 in Mowatt Township, Ontario. Police were given information of a northbound erratic driver, driving fast and weaving in and out of traffic. At 9:30 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop on a northbound vehicle going over 150 kilometers per hour (km/h) in a posted 90 km/h zone. As a result, the twenty-first vehicle was stopped for “Stunt driving” in the West Parry Sound area.

42-year-old Stanislaw Zuiflita from McDougall Township, Ontario was charged with Race a motor vehicle – stunt.

The driver is scheduled to attend Court in Parry Sound on June 25, 2019. His licence has been suspended for seven days and the vehicle he was operating has been impounded for seven days.
