The District Of Muskoka is now accepting applications for the Pay it Forward (PIF) program, which provides grants to support local grassroots initiatives that aim to build a stronger Muskoka.
PIF is a community investment program with grants of up to $2,500 available. Grants are given to community groups with projects or initiatives that fill a strategic need in the community, enhance community support and leadership, create positive change, and improve the quality of life of our vulnerable citizens. Past PIF grant recipients include The Clothes Closet, which provides new and gently used clothes to students, and the Muskoka Shoebox Project, which collects and distributes gift-filled shoe boxes to women experiencing homelessness.
