Strong westerly winds gusting to near 70 km/h will continue to whip up any freshly fallen snow resulting in sudden very low visibility in blowing snow in some areas.

Flurries will give 2 to 5 cm of fresh new snow to most areas this evening.

Poor winter driving conditions are expected. Untreated roads will become snow covered, icy and slippery. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination.

Conditions will slowly improve beginning later this evening as winds ease and flurries begin to taper off.
