A 41 yr old Gravenhurst woman’s been charged after an SUV was hit by CP train.
It happened Wednesday at 11:40 a.m. Police were called to the collision after the 2010 Ford SUV was struck by a west bound Canadian Pacific train on Concession 7, south of Concession 1, in Puslinch Township. Officers responded along with Puslinch Fire and Rescue Services, and Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
41-year-old Teresa Robinson of Gravenhurst has been charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle While Under Suspension and Disobeying a Railway Crossing. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 28th to answer to her charges.
