This Christmas season, St.Theresa’s Catholic High School in Midland is organizing their annual Adopt-A-Family program. This is a program in which the school does their part to “adopt” families in need and help give them the Christmas they deserve. St.Theresa’s has participated in this program in the past, helping many families in Midland and the surrounding area.

Each homeroom class at St.Theresa’s has the opportunity to participate in the Adopt-A-Family program. If they choose to be involved, they are assigned a family in need for which they are responsible for providing three Christmas gifts for each child, a stocking for each person, and non-perishable food items for the family.

The program is hoping to support a minimum of 30 families this season, beating last year’s record. The school sees this program as a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and assure that everyone has the chance for a very Merry Christmas.
