Huntsville OPP with the fire department and paramedics were called at 10:40 a.m., February 24, 2022 to a report of a snowmobile crash on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) trail D101B, which is north west of highway 60, in the area of Oxtounge Lake, Township of Lake of Bays.
At the scene they found an injured female who was operating a snowmobile that had left the trail and struck a tree.
The 60-year-old female was transported by Ornge air ambulance to a Toronto area hospital with life altering injuries.
