Snow squall warning in effect for:

  • Bracebridge – Gravenhurst
  • Huntsville – Baysville
  • Port Carling – Port Severn
  • Town of Parry Sound – Rosseau – Killbear Park

Snow squalls are occurring. Under the snow squall bands, visibilities will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow, and snow will quickly accumulate.

A very strong snow squall producing near zero visibilities in heavy snow and blowing snow is coming on shore from just south of Parry Sound extending inland towards Burk’s Falls. This snow squall will slowly shift southward today.

Snowfall accumulations up to 15 cm are possible in some locations. Areas of very poor visibility in blowing snow are likely as well.
