A mix of snow and ice pellets is expected to move into the area Wednesday afternoon and persist into Wednesday night. Freezing rain is also possible before the precipitation changes over to rain overnight or early Thursday morning. At this time, there remains considerable uncertainty regarding the timing and amount of freezing rain. A freezing rain warning may be needed as the system approaches.
