Winter weather travel advisory in effect.
Hazards:
Snow at times heavy. Snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour are possible, for a brief period.
Significantly reduced visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow.
Strong winds gusting to 60 km/h.
Slippery road conditions.

Discussion:
Sudden reductions in visibility due to heavy snow and blowing snow are expected with the passage of a cold front this morning.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
