Kids across Muskoka now have the chance to participate in Science North Summer Science Camps and registration is open for the 2019 season.

Science North now offers Summer Science Camps to 35 communities across Northern Ontario including Bracebridge, Orillia, Midland, Parry Sound, and Huntsville. The Science Summer Camps will run from July 2 to Aug. 30 and are designed for four age groups: 4 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, 9 to 11 years and over 11 years. Programs include instruction on areas like nature, animals, chemistry and even how kids can use technology in their creative lives.

Science North has offered summer camps that introduce children to the worlds of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) since 1987. Science North said their staff have “all of the tools to inspire the future scientist in your home, using a unique blend of hands-on science, mind-blowing demonstrations, and energetic games and activities.”

Parents can register their children online 24 hours a day at or call 1-800-461-4898 from 9am to 4pm. Visit their website for a complete list of programs in your area as well as information on descriptions, pricing, age groups, locations and dates. Parents can also save 10 per cent when they register their children for two or more programs at a time.
