RVH Announces Its First Baby Of 2019

Each year more than 2,000 babies are born at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) in Barrie and while each one is a unique and beautiful miracle, the first child born in the new year does garner special attention.

As such, RVH is proud to announce the first baby born in 2019 arrived January 1, at 10:15 a.m.

Barrie residents Meagan Shannon and Danny Brown welcomed their baby boy Jordan Brown, weighing six pounds and four ounces, into the world and celebrated his honour of being the first baby born at RVH in 2019.
