RIDE Check Leads To Several Charges For Gravenhurst Resident

On the 18th of March, 2024 at 11:20 a.m. officers from the Rama Police Service conducted a RIDE check on Mara-Rama Boundary Road. A vehicle approached the RIDE and open alcohol was observed inside the vehicle causing officers to enter a Liquor License Control Act investigation. As result of the investigation two people were arrested.
A 19-year-old Toronto man, Nathan Lindao-Loor, has been arrested and charged for several criminal related offences. The accused has been charged for the following offences:
Possession of a Schedule 1 substance
Fail to comply with release order x2
Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
Obstruct peace officer
Disobeying court order x2
A 33-year-old Gravenhurst man, Robyn Tonello was released on an appearance notice and charged with:
Possession of a Schedule 1 substance
Driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
Have care and control of a vehicle with Cannabis readily available
Tonello is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia on April 30th, 2024.
