The Town of Bracebridge is celebrating it’s 150-year anniversary in 2025 and is calling on members of the community to submit their celebration ideas for consideration by Monday, February 26. Ideas will be reviewed by the Bracebridge 150 Committee to determine what can be incorporated into the overall event plan.

How to submit an idea

The Town is also seeking interest from local businesses, event organizers and community groups who are celebrating a milestone in 2025 and that would like to be included in the Bracebridge 150 calendar of events or incorporate an element of the sesquicentennial in their event planning. Interested parties can submit their details at engagebracebridge.ca/bracebridge150.

Volunteers Wanted
The Town will be seeking volunteers to help bring the Bracebridge 150 celebration together. Those interested in volunteering can submit their details at engagebracebridge.ca/bracebridge150. Roles and responsibilities of event volunteers will be determined and shared at a later date once the event plan is established.

Bracebridge 150 Committee
The Bracebridge 150 Committee was formed to help develop and implement the plan to celebrate the Town’s 150th anniversary in accordance with the objectives approved by Council. The advisory committee will develop and coordinate activities for all ages to commemorate and celebrate the community’s history, cultural diversity, and extensive arts and recreation opportunities. The committee will be appointed until the fall of 2025.
