Plan Your Next Event At Bracebridge’s Historic Woodchester

Rich in history and elegance, Woodchester is the perfect venue for small events this summer in Bracebridge. From showers and celebrations to business meetings and workshops, the historic octagonal building offers a unique space to host an array of intimate events of up to 40 people.

Woodchester sits on approximately 10 acres of property overlooking the Muskoka River, Bracebridge Falls, and the iconic Silver Bridge. Take a stroll on the grounds to explore a trail in the urban forest and utilize both the indoor and outdoor space to make your event truly special. The Woodchester grounds offer a serene and peaceful location to enjoy a variety of activities. There is plenty of foliage and greenery to help connect you with Bracebridge’s natural roots while providing a tranquil backdrop for your special occasion.

Did you know?
Woodchester was the first house in the area to have electric lighting. The unique building is designated under the Ontario Heritage Act and the property still exhibits some of the historical features that made it a modern home at the time, including a functioning dumbwaiter that runs from the basement kitchen to the attic with access on each floor.
