The Orillia OPP are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred early in the morning on June 16 in Coldwater.
Emergency services were called to the area just after 4 a.m. and arrived to find the structure fully engulfed in flames. A large barn, which was used shelter animals during the fall fair, was destroyed in the fire on Michael Anne Drive, but no injuries were reported. Locals at the scene said that it’s the second time a fire has happened at the property. The Orillia Major Crime unit has collected physical evidence from the scene and are continuing to investigate. Nearby residents and businesses are encouraged to check their dash cam and security camera footage.
