Members of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded at 3:57 p.m. May 31, 2021 to a report of a break and enter complaint at a Fourth Street Midland residence. Through investigation, a suspect was identified and later found and arrested in relation to another incident on June 1, 2021 while being in possession of a number of stolen household items from the residence.
Charged is John Nathan Neal, 34 years of Midland, with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada
- Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence
And further
- Being intoxicated in a public place
The accused was held for a virtual bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on June 2, 2021 and will appear before in Midland Court at a future date.
