Motorcyclist Taken To Hospital After Collision On Hwy/400/11 Split

The Orillia OPP are investigating a single-vehicle collision on Highway 400 northbound, at the Highway 11 interchange in Oro-Medonte Township.

On June 13, 2022, shortly after 7 p.m., Orillia OPP, along with Oro-Medonte Township Fire and County of Simcoe Paramedics, responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 400 and Highway 11 interchange involving a motorcyclist who was ejected from a motorcycle.

One person was transported to a Toronto area Hospital by Air Ornge with life altering injuries. OPP Central Region Traffic Reconstruction Members attended the scene to assist with the investigation.

Northbound lanes of Highway 400 were closed until 11:00 p.m. and have since reopened.
