Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop this afternoon and into this evening. Plenty of moisture in the atmosphere will allow for localized torrential downpours. These downpours are generally expected to be fairly brief, however local amounts of 30 mm in an hour will be possible, with potential for an isolated 50 mm in one or two locales.

Creeks and streams may become fast moving as a result of heavy downpours in some areas. Motorists are advised to exercise caution under the heavy downpours due to the risk of hydroplaning.
