Bracebridge – Gravenhurst,

Current details:
Snow squalls continue this morning.

Hazards:
Additional snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm.
Reduced visibility due to heavy snow and local blowing snow.

Timing:
Continuing this morning. Snow squalls are expected to taper to flurries late this morning.

Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.

If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight.
