On Tuesday November 5, 2019 at 9:44 p.m. Bracebridge OPP, Muskoka Paramedic Services and Georgian Bay Fire responded to a male that had fallen into Gibson Lake at an address off of Hansens Road. When crews arrived, an OPP Officer entered the water and located the male, but unfortunately life saving efforts were unsuccessful.
The accident happened when the male was outside a home cleaning off a satellite dish and fell into the water. The name of the male has not been released.
The investigation is on going by the OPP and the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service. More information will be released as it becomes available.
