Male Airlifted To Toronto Hospital After Snowmobile Collision In Bracebridge

The Bracebridge OPP as well as the OPP Central Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team are investigating a collision involving a Motorized Snow Vehicle (MSV) resulting in serious injuries to a male party.

On December 17, 2022 at 12 p.m. the Bracebridge OPP as well as the Bracebridge Fire Department and Muskoka Paramedic Services attended a home on Beattie Lane in the Town of Bracebridge for a report of a single snowmobile collision with a parked vehicle.

The male was trapped after the collision with the car and had to be rescued by the fire department.

A 51-year-old male from Richmond Hill was transported by Paramedics in critical condition to an area hospital and was further transported by air ORNGE to a Toronto trauma center.

The investigation is ongoing and the Bracebridge Detachment will provide updates as they become available.
