On January 29, 117 Grade one to six students from Macaulay Public School participated in the Trent University Math Competition, The Trent Turtle Mathematics Contest.
The newly created contest is an opportunity to engage students in creative ways, ensuring the importance of mathematics success within schools. Students had the option to participate individually, or as a team – Macaulay PS chose to enter as a whole team.
More then 4,000 students participated in the competition from school boards across the province.
