Lakehead University in Orillia is hosting their March Break open house from March 12 to 14, inviting future students and their parents to spend the day on campus and see what it’s like to attend Lakehead.
Prospective students can sit in on classes or mock lectures, meet faculty and other students, and learn about the student services at Lakehead. The event includes a program fair to help students learn more about the program or faculty they’re interested in, along with guided tours of the campus and student residences. It’s also an opportunity for students to ask questions about on-campus residence, finances and tuition, the application process, awards and scholarships and more.
Maclean’s University Rankings put Lakehead University among Canada’s Top 10 undergraduate universities, placing it at eighth in Canada and second in Ontario in its category. Between Lakehead’s two campuses in Orillia and Thunder Bay, there are 9,700 full-time students and 2,000 faculty and staff in 10 faculties.
