On Saturday, March 12 at 7 p.m., Almaguin Highlands OPP responded to a collision involving a motorized snow vehicle (MSV) that struck a vehicle on Sparks Street.
Police said there were no injuries reported. Police investigation revealed that Stanley McCutcheson, 57 years-of-age, of Mulmur, Ontario, had consumed alcoholic beverages and was subsequently arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday April 14, 2022 in Sundridge, Ontario.
