The Orillia OPP have made several impaired driving arrests over the weekend.
On May 04, 2019 at 3:00 a.m. police conducted a routine traffic stop on Highway 12 in Severn Township. After interacting with the driver police were able to determine that, 20 year old, Ashleigh Wambach of Innisfil was impaired. Police arrested and charged the driver with impaired driving offences.
On May 04, 2019 at 7:40 p.m. police received a call regarding a possible impaired driver. Police attended the area and discovered 47-year-old Robert MacDonald of Orillia was impaired. Police charged the driver with Impaired Operation and Over 80.
On May 04, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. police were called to Rama Road with reports of a single vehicle collision. After a short investigation police were able to determine the driver was impaired. Brent Coombs age 22 of Severn was charged with impaired driving offences.
On May 05, 2019 at 6:40 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop on Laclie Street in Orillia. As a result of that traffic stop police arrested and charged, 64 year old, Darlene Evans with impaired driving offences.
On May 05, 2019 at 7:40 p.m. police received a call for a possible impaired driver in a parking lot on Horseshoe Valley Road in Oro-Medonte. Upon arrival police were able to determine that, 26-year-old, Joseph Micks of Oro-Medonte was impaired. The driver was charged with impaired driving offences.
All of the accused have been released on a Promise to Appear in court at future dates.
