Impaired Driver Caught At OPP R.I.D.E. Program In Tiny Township

A Penetanguishene driver found out that the Ontario Provincial Police does operate the R.I.D.E. program at any hour, all year round.

Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Marshall Road, Tiny Township when a they checked a pick up truck pulling a trailer at approximately 12:55 a.m. November 14, 2022. Upon speaking to the driver an impaired driving investigation was commenced resulting in Adam Dubeau 38 years of Penetanguishene being criminally charged with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from police custody on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice  on December 29, 2022 and as well, faces 90 day drivers licence suspensions as per the Ministry of Transportation (ADLS) guidelines and a seven day vehicle impound.
