Huntsville Town Council To Hold Special Meeting For Flood Review Before Disaster Recovery Assistance Information Session

Huntsville Town Council will be holding a special council meeting prior to the Disaster Recovery Assistance information session hosted by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing on June 12.

Huntsville Town Council will be hosting the council meeting at the Algonquin Theatre at 6 p.m. to review the 2019 flood event. Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting with their concerns and are also able to provide public comment or ask questions about the flood online through the town’s community engagement flooding page. The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing will be presenting a public information session on the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) program at 7 p.m. The session will include information on eligibility criteria, support documentation requirements and how to apply.
