Huntsville OPP Investigating Damage To Ball Diamond


On October 16th, 2018 the Huntsville OPP were notified by the town of Huntsville, of significant damage done to the ball diamond grounds on William St.

Sometime between 4:00 p.m. on October 15th, 2018 and 7:30 a.m. on October 16th, 2018, unknown culprits drove through the gap in the fence onto the ball diamond and tore up a significant amount of the turf surrounding the ball diamonds. The initial stages of the investigation found that there were two vehicles involved, one possibly a pick-up truck and the other a smaller sedan or SUV type vehicle. The total cost to repair the damage would be approximately $3,000.

Anyone with any information, who may have seen the vehicles in the area between the above times, is asked to contact Huntsville OPP.
