Huntsville OPP Charge Driver With Impaired Operation

Members of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a driver with impaired operation after responding to a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road in the Town of Huntsville.

On June 3 at approximately 9:45 a.m., Huntsville OPP responded to a vehicle stopped in a live lane on Highway 60. Upon arrival, officers located the driver in medical distress. The driver was assessed by paramedics and transported to hospital.

As a result of the investigation, Kyle Jones, 40 years of age, from Lake of Bays Township was charged with operation while impaired.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 25.
