Around 11 p.m. Tuesday night, Gravenhurst fire crews from all three stations attended a house fire in Barkway. About 25 firefighters fought the fire until 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The homeowner escaped without injury. The cause of the fire is under investigation but not considered suspicious. Damage is estimated at $800,000.
