On December 2, 2022 at 2:35 a.m. a Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on general patrol on Muskoka Road 169 in Gravenhurst and became concerned about the driving behaviour of a motorist.
The officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested and charged 29 year-old Nickolas Barnes of Gravenhurst with Impaired Operation of a Vehicle and Over 80 CC.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 3, 2022 to answer to his charges. Furthermore, his licence has been suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded.
