On January 18, 2021, at 5:00 p.m., North Bay OPP were dispatched to Highway 656 in Mattawan Township for a theft.
Officers attended and found that suspects had removed hub caps and lug nuts from a vehicle.
On January 19, 2021, at 5:30 a.m., officers from the North Bay OPP received a call about a break and enter to a shed in Phelps Township. The suspects were scared off by the property owners.
Officers patrolled the area and located the suspect vehicle. Four people were arrested in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle resulted in locating hub caps and lug nuts suspected to be from the theft on Highway 656 the day before.
Ashley Adair, age 39 of North Bay, was charged with the following:
- Trespassing at Night
- Break, Enter a Place – With Intent to Commit and Indictable Offence
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
Beau Desvreaux, age 36, of Bonfield, was charged with the following:
- Operation While Prohibited
- Trespassing at Night
- Break, Enter a Place – With Intent to Commit and Indictable Offence
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
Mackenzie Desvreaux-Houle, age 29, of Bonfield, was charged with the following:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 (four counts)
- Trespassing at Night
- Break, Enter a Place – With Intent to Commit and Indictable Offence
Ernie Walla, age 48, of Gravenhurst, was charged with the following:
- Trespassing at Night
- Break, Enter a Place – With Intent to Commit and Indictable Offence
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
All accused were released on an Undertaking with a date to attend court in North Bay on February 16, 2021.
