Gravenhurst Resident Charged After Fail To Remain Collision

Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a local man after he fled the scene of a motor vehicle collision.

On October 18, 2024, at 5:35 p.m., Bracebridge OPP officers were dispatched to reports of a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 11 South near Highway 118 in Bracebridge. Witnesses reported that a vehicle struck another and fled the scene. Officers located the vehicle on Winhara Road and located and arrested the driver. Police have charged 39-year-old Kevin Buker, of Gravenhurst, with Operation While Prohibited and Failure to Stop After Accident.

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on November 19, 2024 to answer to his charges. Furthermore, the involved vehicle has been impounded for a period of 45 days.
