A Gravenhurst resident and a Severn resident have been included in a list of 30 people charged with impaired driving offences released by the York Regional Police on March 18.

Derik Hamilton, 19, of Gravenhurst and Fritz Muser, 64, of Severn were included in a list of people charged with impaired driving by alcohol or drugs, driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 mgs or above of alcohol in 100 ml of blood, or refusing to provide a breath/blood sample. In addition to being charged, those on the list are subject to a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and are prohibited from operating a motor vehicle on a roadway. The York Regional Police regularly report the names of people who are charged with impaired-related driving offences to bring attention to and deter impaired driving.

York Regional Police encourage citizens to report anyone driving in violation of the suspension to the police or to Crime Stoppers.
