Gravenhurst Man Charged After Attempting to Rob Gravenhurst Pharmacy

A 23-year-old from Gravenhurst is facing multiple charges after attempting to steal drugs from the IDA on Brock Street last week.

Yesterday, March 22, 2018, Bracebridge OPP arrested and charged Zachary Otis Joslin for the robbery which took place March 14. Police say Joslin passed a note to the pharmacist demanding narcotics, before fleeing the scene. The Bracebridge Community Street Crime unit then began an investigation which led to Joslin’s arrest.

As a result, Joslin has been charged with robbery with intent to commit an indictable offence, failure to comply with probation and failure to attend court. He was held in custody for a bail hearing in Bracebridge on March 23, 2018.
